About this formulation

Maha Bhringraj Tel is a classical hair oil from the Bhaishajya Ratnavali. It is built around Bhringraj (Eclipta prostrata), called Keshraja ("king of hair"), with Amalaki, Brahmi, Triphala, Manjishtha, Yashtimadhu and other herbs in sesame oil. In Ayurveda it is classed as Keshya (nourishing for hair) and is traditionally used for Shiro-Abhyanga (head massage) to support the hair roots and to balance Pitta in the scalp. Its cooling quality is also traditionally used to support calm and restful sleep. For external use only.
