About this formulation

Bilva Tel is a classical oil from the Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Karnaroga Chikitsa). It is prepared from Bilva (bael) fruit pulp in sesame oil with goat's milk. In Ayurveda it is traditionally used for Karna Purana (filling the ear with warm oil) to support Karna (ear) comfort and to pacify Vata in the ear. Use only a few warm drops. Do not put it in the ear if there is discharge, pain with fever, or a possible perforated eardrum; see a doctor for these.
