About this formulation

Khadirarista is a classical fermented tonic from the Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Kushtha Chikitsa). It is built around Khadira (Senegalia catechu) with Devadaru, Triphala, Daruharidra, Bakuchi and spices. In Ayurveda, Khadira is classed as Kushtaghna (supports skin health) and Raktashodhaka (purifies the blood tissue). The tonic is traditionally used to support Twak (the skin) and Rakta Dhatu (the blood tissue), to help ease itching, and to balance Kapha and Pitta. It contains naturally generated alcohol.
